The Gratitude Grant Project is a student-led initiative dedicated to giving back to schools through meaningful service, leadership, and community involvement. By empowering high school students to take initiative and work collaboratively, the project creates positive, lasting impact while expressing appreciation for the educators, staff, and communities that support student growth.
Initiated by Pranan Raja, a sophomore at McNeil High School, the Gratitude Grant Project is rooted in the values of gratitude, leadership, and service. What began as a single effort to improve a school space has grown into a larger mission to support schools across RRISD.
Through hands-on projects and student-driven efforts, the Gratitude Grant Project continues to foster a culture of giving back—one school space at a time.
