Gratitude Grant team volunteers came together to help clean and organize the portable. It was truly meaningful for our team to contribute in a way that directly benefits the school community.
What made this project especially special was that all of our volunteers were former Stallions—students who were excited to return and give back to the school that gave them so much during their elementary years. It was a proud and rewarding experience for everyone involved.

"It was a wonderful project. We really appreciate the former Stallions coming out to help organize the portable. It looked fantastic after you all were done.
We are happy to share that feedback on our website." - Mariko Garza (Sommer PTA Vice President)
The Gratitude Grant Project is dedicated to giving back to RRISD schools through small initiatives that make a meaningful impact. We are currently looking for high school student and adult volunteers for our upcoming project.
Now that we have cleaned and organized the portable, the school needs our help moving the remaining items, such as racks and bins, into the moving truck. . Once completed, the portable will be relocated to another school and repurposed as a classroom—directly supporting students and learning.
